Joyful Giving – balcony gardening

What can you grow on a balcony? A lot. I gifted some plants, cuttings and pots to a new neighbour in my Buy Nothing group.

A weekend of giving away to good friends and contemplating how blessed I am to have such abundant relationships.

We set out to pay off our mortgage this year, and despite a rocky year, we are on track. Now we’re adopting a new strategy.

I love buying things from my local op shops – and I also donate. Many people are decluttering and donating so make sure you donate early.

I’m now at 681 in my tally of giving away items. Can I make 1,000? This week I gave away a lot of random things including CDs. Remember those?

Some people ask me why I don’t just donate to op shops. Well, I do! But dumping everything at op shops is just not cool.
