It's V-Day. And it's quite the consumer event. The It's V-Day. And it's quite the consumer event. There's nothing like romance as a motivator to spend.

But after the flowers have died, and the cards are in the bin, and the chocolates have been eaten, what matters is not the price you paid but the loving intention. And there are so many ways you can show someone you love them - for free! Spend time listening and supporting them, help with housework (pretty sexy in my book), make a cup of tea or coffee, or maybe even give a massage. Actually, there a lot of free activities if you think about it!!

Hi all, i was out at the theatre last night (great Hi all, i was out at the theatre last night (great Barbara Streisand tribute at the Canberra Theatre) when I bumped into a frugalista. "Where have you been?" she asked. "You've been so quiet on socials."

I'm here. I'm just doing the post school holidays back to school routine. And work. New full-time job for me, which I applied for on recommendation from a friend. And I'm loving it.

Once a frugalista always a frugalista. I walk to work each day with my packed lunch. I turned up on day one with tea and cup ready to go, and I've got a full wardrobe of Fashionista outfits. 

Outside of work, I'm still writing and I'm still podcasting. My social face might not be around as much, but that doesn't mean I've forgotten you. Actually, being in an office environment helps me to understand more of what others are experiencing with cost of living pressures in a way I don't always appreciate working from home. And I'm halfway through my first abundance course of 2023.
